ok, i have a set(1) of quamen hiro bars. i don't think they make 'em anymore. zero sweep, zero rise. 7.25 high, about 23.25 wide. black. "if it ain't black, it's wack" i'm lookin to trade them for something cool. i think it's just more fun to give the finger to uncle sam and barter, than to sell stuff ya already bought once. bring it. i'm open to suggestion. i really don't have a 'want' ready; just open to all 'whatchagots'. not necessarily bmx related. later dude.  jim |

Hrm.dang. I love my Hiro bars and would like another for my other bike. Just trying out my luck, but I've got a Dell computer I'm not using...was thinking of rebuilding it: Dual CPU P4 1.0 GHz 512 MB RD Ram SB Live Sound Card 40 Gig Hard Drive Onboard Network Card Will Include Windows 2000(not installed) Needs a video card and a CD Rom though, but other than that, it should work! Send me an email if this interests you: reyms_at_yahoo_dot_com Let me know what would interest you outside of BMX stuff and I'll see if I have anything to entertain your offer.  OH! I just remembered...BMX related part: I have a red 88 Eleven CNC Stem that I'm not using anymore:  I'd be more than willing to trade that along with some money if you're interested. Say..the stem and $40 extra(non-taxable)? Unity Bikes Grip Tape pegs(14mm)...not used, only installed it on a bike I haven't finished building up. I'll post pictures of it when I get home. |

Hrm...we could make a 3-way deal?! Then everyone would be happy! Actually, josh would make a lot of other ppl online happy with his porn...er...I mean, workstation. socal, can you help me with a cisco wlse 1130 config problem while you're at it? if they are the bars i think they are...they are tight..i have some of jmc's quamens but i think im happy with my suelo's so i leave them...but quamen bars rock, like i have to tell yuo. im down for a three way trade though if you are....properly handled (thinking about the thread on pedal today for the quamen frame...ghey). i *really* need a proper portable type computer/ (pron storage) / file server / decent laptop...got any people that follow trucks for falling boxes in your circle? jd. jd. |

Hey Josh...I have it in red, actually, now that I look at it...I'm not sure if I'd trade it. By my standards, it's a bit beat up...however, but besides the cosmetic appearance of it, it works great.
As for the wireless switch/router problem, I've never really set up a wireless network before...however, I do have a friend I can forward your problem to. What's your question?
I'll be posting pictures of the various stuff I wouldn't mind trading: 35mm stem, bizhouse knuckle seat clamp, dell dual cpu computer, unity bikes grip tape flatland pegs(new)

hmmm...me an josh gotta discuss all this stuff tomorra.  btw; i did think of one specific thing i could use ****short primo type crank arms*** i have a square primo spindle. and i got a digital camera today, so pictures of the bars will follow. i can toss in the gym grips that're on em. *jim |

the computer is bumped. i am interested in those pegs and whatnot. is it regular griptape or can you get "rubberized" griptape. do you have 4 pegs or 2? i just bought a stem or i'd hit that too. got videos? lets talk.
i'm still open to all offers on the bars. we cool.

sorry im having some money issues as of late...even a used computer isnt in the budget really...i have a few laying around that i should fix instead of getting new ones. (oh the mass of junk i have is insane)

No worries Josh...I know how it is to be strapped with lots of bills and finding very little money to play with.
Jmc...I only have 1 pair of those pegs. Yes, they are regular grip tape and you can probably put the rubberized grip tape on them. I can make a video of them or other things you're interested in. Were you interested in the Bizhouse seat clamp? I also have a pair of Frequencey G tires(1.85) that are broken in. I was thinking of hanging onto those until I needed to replace my current set but if you'd want those, I can throw those in as well. Hrm...let's see...I have a used GT Show seat that's in good condition that I was thinking of putting on my other bike. Also, I can include a little bit o cash to sweeten things up.

great minds think alike SoCal! i just put a seatpost clamp n frequency g tires on, (i'm keepin them on till they bubble!)
is the seat good? i got seat issues, does it have plastic around the edges, my seat doesn't and it's days are numbered. i'm into this peg experiment lately; trying all kinds of pegs, well 5 types so far. i like your unity's alot. cash is always good too!
today's tuesday, so anyone else interested in these bars better step up, cause after i ride wednesday the deal is done. socal, pm me wed. evening and we'll knock out the finer points. i can set it up to mail thursday morning. peace.

Cool! Yeah, the seat is still good. Rails are straight and the plastic part is barely scuffed up. I also had seat problems from rails bending to eventually popping out of the back. Not to mention bent rails put my seat at a funky angle causing me lower back pains...UGH! I'll definitely take some pictures later on tonight when I get home. As for whether the seat can take the abuse, I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet(bought it used from ebay).
So cool, if there's no other takers and you're interested in trading, just send me a PM and a dollar amount of what would make things cool for both sides.
