hello to collectors and enthusiasts. i'm going on thirty now and i am looking to get back a piece of my childhood. i am looking to restore a redline rl 20 II. i was fortunate enough to own and enjoy riding one of these now classics, but also was unfortunate enough to be held up for it when i was eighteen(dude didn't even know what he was stealing, just another bike to him). i am new to forum and don't really know where to look(i've searched)i've been to ebay and craigs list.(no luck). i am not sure what forum he is on but redline j seems to have quite the collection. hello to readline j if he's on this forum and reads this or to any one that can point me in the right direction. i am mainly looking for a frame fork to build from the ground up or even a complete that is not restored. thanks in advance.

its funny i just started coming across boards like this with people just like me. (i didnt know they exsisted). i been into modyfing import cars for like eight years. i think i have found a second hobbie.

yeah you ain't kidding. i've been doing alot of research the past few days. there are few steep price tags out there for complete restores. not saying there not worth it. i use to build and repair alot of bikes back in the day for me and my friends. it'll be like old times. just a little more timelier. the availibilty for parts is little more scarce.
