I have a Lavender 1987 GT Performer, with the white mags, tires, bars, grips, pedals, crank, seat post (the seat is lavender). It has lavender fork standers as the only add-on. It's all original in really, really good condition. It's in storage and hasn't been ridden in like 17 years (since I got my drivers license). My question is, does a bike like this have collector value? I know old Schwinn's do, but what about these freestyle bikes from the 80's? I just realized this bike was 20 years old so I thought I'd see if it's worth hanging on to. My brother has one in a hot blue color, but it's in worse shape (he trashed his stuff back then)

Actually, upon closer review, I think it's a 1986 GT Performer, not a 1987... Is there any way for me to correctly identify between the 2 years by looking... it's all original and has it's original decals and such. Thanks
