Has anyone ever tried making a sort of halfpipe out of dirt? I started working on this burm in my yard, and it's gotten bigger & bigger and I'm just wondering, if I put another one facing it, how interesting that would be. Would it work at all?
I'm not making the jumps & bumps entirely out of dirt, of course, either...I use old tires & chunks of cement to help create a foundation & fill things in. I know it wouldn't be like a true halfpipe so to speak, but it's possible, isn't it? Or should I not bother going to all that work only to find out it's not worth it?

i have ridden dirt quarters before, so sure it is possible. the only problem with dirt quarters/half pipes is that dirt goes away and your transition changes through time. fun stuff though!
