Cooler temps, earlier sunsets this month, but let's keep the riding hot! This month the TOTM is lungspin, I'll definitely be working on this trick and happy to offer any advice I can to others learning it.
keep riding!

Went OTB on a steam last night. I'm feeling I need to learn new tricks now. Back wheel tricks. I want to start with that Lungspin. Weather's been terrible here since last week. Yesterday and today are better though. ;D

I have started with the Lung Spin...Not much spin but a ton of heavy breathing trying to get my bike to act right. Hahaha. I am still doing that Seat Grab H10 every day. I can't wait till I get that front wheel to turbine around. I am so fixed on doing that I really have not worked on anything else. Its my goal and I am going after it.

Nice vid Jim. What does your front wheel consist of? Are those covers over your spokes?
I've been riding 4 days strait now. I've got in about 2 to 4 hours a day. Wednesday was the best...I almost landed a brakeless firehydrant(landed on the tt but put my other foot down). I've been trying that lungspin for a few days now. I got maybe a 360 spin so far idk. I still got to make that vid... The weather has been great here all week! Today is rainy but it's supposed to clear up around 12 noon. More riding!!

Thanks Josh, as far as the wheel, it's just a normal wheel with some old school wheel discs on it. I get asked about it quite alot so I guess it's worth explaining here. Basically it's two plastic discs that are held together by plastic nuts and bolts. I do a couple tricks where I jump to the front wheel and if my foot is crooked, I used to ram my heel or toe right into the spokes every so often. Another trick I do I sometimes would catch a finger in the moving spokes. since adding the wheel discs I haven't had any problems. They've got some scuff marks from my shoes so I know they've saved at least a couple spokes already.
Also, as shallow as it sounds, I kinda like the look. I'd run them on the back wheel also but as I'm mainly a back wheel rider, I tension my spokes often enough to not allow that.
I'm about to take advantage of the wife and family being here today and sneak out for an afternoon session, going to try to learn a whiplash variation today. Happy Holidays ya'll!

That's clever jim! Can you still find those discs? Where they used for same reason in the past? I'm going out today. It's great weather around mid 50s. That's good for this time of year. I hope to get 2+ hours in today.
