Thanks! Yeah, those rims are anodized. They are the Duralectra rims by Odyssey. But just my luck, now that I'm starting to feel a little better, it's raining! UGH!!

on closer inspection, i noticed your g-sport(?) front hub. dang that looks clean! so... is that hub worth the money? it's been on my wish list for some time, and i hardly ever see one on a bike.

You know, I haven't had one problem with it yet. It does roll smoothly and feels very solid. Before I decided to fork out the cash for it, I really wanted to know that what I was getting wasn't hype. It's not cheap...however, I do believe I made the right decision when I bought those. It's just very reliable and one less thing I need to hassle with. I always had axle/cone problems before but with this, it's very easy to maintain.

your pics are so clear they invite my questions ;D are those 12 or even 10g spokes? i was unable to get heavier spokes w/my setup 'cause on the unusual height of my speedhoops and high flange hubs, i'm reconsidering my choice of hubs...
i'll cut to the chase, on your back wheel, does the heavier guage stay tight longer, my 14's need a tighten every other ride. they are new and that may change though... thanks again for the dope pics of yer new built bike ;D

LOL! Thx for the compliment guys! As for your question jmc...those are 13g spokes. The heavier gauge for the back seems to get loose and I have to tighten them like...once every 3 weeks? It really depends how hard I ride my back wheel. The fronts have no problems whatsoever though...regardless of how hard I ride them. Pat from FF said that it's a little more maintenance if I went radials, but I didn't expect it to be this much. It's not too bad now that I'm used to it but I am considering taking it to a friend for a rebuild. But overall, I have no complaints about the bike and now that I've spent a little more time on it, I actually like it better than the Micromachine. Anyway, time to get to work! YUK!! Such a nice day out too! What a shame I'll be stuck in an office all day long.
