Brake or Breakless? I can do them with brakes. I'll try for brakeless now.

I can only do them well with out my brakes. I have a hard time with the first spin with breaks.

Beh, I have a hard time doing them, even though I have rear brakes now. I can spin rediculously easy on my front wheel. But spining back around on my rear wheel seems to get me. Just something to work on I guess. Any tips on that? Like, when I spin back around on my rear wheel, I can get all the way around. But I don't arrive back in a position good enough to spin around on my front tire again...

I have never got more than one rock walk. If you can get around the first time I think its more of getting into a different body postion for the second one. When you do rock walks are you using breaks? I can't use breaks to get around. I always come to a stop these days. But since I am riding a freecoster I have had a lot of problems getting back around again. Maybe there is someone else here that can get more than 1.

I remember back in the day doing the rock walk, on the second half, it makes a huge difference if you pedal out of the spin on the rear wheel.

WOW! I thought I was the only guy left who still did that trick. Does anybody else out there ride with a coaster brake? I still ride my tuff wheel 1s from the 80s ;D. I bought a new rear #1 with the coaster brake from ebay a couple yrs ago. I can ride with free wheel but i perfer the coaster brake. I also like the bunny hop 360, its 1 of my fav tricks, i can also do rock walks back to back in a row. My 2 boys friends trip when i do a drop in with the coaster brake on the 1/4 pipe and 1/2 pipe. back hops are also cool. Keep on riding Capt. CrAzY Lacy

WOW! I thought I was the only guy left who still did that trick. Does anybody else out there ride with a coaster brake? I did, wouldn't have even entertained the notion of riding freewheel. That is really cool. I've always thought the group of guys I rode with and Chris Day (and perhaps Woody Itson, I believe he invented the pedal-picker) were the only coaster brake riders in the world.
