Hey guys new to this board. Right now I'm working on Backyards, triple tailwhips (can't get the motion down for pinky squeeks so I just jump and land on the peg without moving the bike) and the bane of my existence mCcircles.

very cool Jon
I am working on updating right now. My upload locked up so I need to restart it. How are you getting into back yards? Last time I tried to do a double tailwhip I just about ripped stuff up in my knee..Good to hear your doing triples.
Keep on Riding!!!

yeah, I hate it when I get caught up on the bike. right now I'm trying to get in a backyard from a halflash. I can barely do it. I've been trying other things like going in off a tailwhip. My back brakes are so bad though that it's really hard. I'll have to come up with something or do what I should have done a long time ago and really learn half lashes.

Dano, Could you explain that more clearly? I can do a flail where I'm rolling and jump around the bike and land with my left foot on the back right peg. I'm still rolling forward though so if I lock up the brakes I'll go into a backwards endo on the side of my bike. I find it really hard to bring up the front end like off a cyclone. I always hit the breaks and turn my handlebars into the right position. I've seen videotapes of guys who will lift the front end up a little while still moving and do that. I feel like my legs are too spread out to get any sort of lift from the front of the bike and I have a flat specific bike. hmmmm....

Yea Jon, Man it's not easy...and when i used to them...i never had them down pat. but they could be done.
1. Start out with both feet on the back pegs, jump clockwise around the bike like you doing a flail, (or cylone you called it). just do a boomerang from the back pegs like that and as your swinging around the bike your legs are normally just however they are in the air right? Well, tighten your legs up as you begin to land on the back of the bike so their straight right before you land on the back right peg with your left foot, this is where it gets tricky to explain? You have to hit the back brake and the momentum of your body swingin' helps to get the bike up into the air....this happens quick! Ok when you land your left foot on the back right peg you hit the brakes to get you up and as the bike is coming up let go of the bars, and you have your right foot ready to scuff the backwheel and you kinda just have to get into position..and start doin your no handed back yards.....I my self have rode into this trick my self maybe 12 times total...it hard but it feels great! because your body is feeling the momentum of the boomerrang, then all of a sudden it stops cuz your feet are on the back peg and tire and at the same time your letting go of the bars after the bike is up...and then your feeling that weird controled no handed backyard thing....don't worry about the momentum of the boomerrang throwing you off balance for your backyard, that all stops and the bike piviots to the right a bit and you suddenly are doing backyards.......it's definitly an advanced trick.....I learned it from some dude at an afa contest down in Del Mar Ca. in like 1987 i think? to sum it up:
After the boomerang......your peg foot, and your scuffing foot, along with hitting the brake,t he bike coming up and you letting go of the bars....basically ALL happen at the same time.....right now i'm trying to do applecrates to backyards...that's even harder......I am starting a my own new style of riding with trying to mix in alot of oldshool tricks into newer tricks...excluding all hopping tricks....No cherry pickers, pedal pickers, front wheel hops......no hopping I'm trying to consentrate on manuvering around the bike and rolling and scuffing tricks only........I hope I explained that trick better...it is a tough one but it looks crazy and would be alot of fun if you could pull them everytime.......anything can be done.....

Well, the way I would like to do the backyard, is to start out rolling with my right foot on the front left peg, and left foot on the back left peg. Without using the brakes, swing the frame around counter clockwise, so your balancing on your right foot on the left front peg as your rolling. Then when the frame gets in front of you, put your left foot on the back right peg. Hit the back brakes and since your going forward the momentum should lift up the front of the bike, then start scuffing. I think this would be the easiest way once I can get the half lash, and learn how to I guess it's called swivel with both feet on the pegs and the frame in front of me. Clear as mud?

Clear as MUD! Yesssssssssss-n-deeeeed ! It's hard to explain the way i tried to explain it...and super advanced! I can't even do it.....You just would have to imagine a boomerang to a back yard?.....not easy...then again?...freestylin' isn't easy.....I used to say: "Anyone can do anything they put their mind to" But if you don't have a serious "patience gene" in your body......freestylin' can't be done.....I've talked to so many people that say, "WOW you do that? I always wanted to do that but don't have the patience....."
