I posted a similar message on his message board and sent a email to his staff too. I wonder if he will ever get it? THats so cool that you got to talk with him. I saw him in person once in my life but I never got so close to talk to him. It was back in Colorado Springs at a King of Vert contest. He pulled a 900 it was AWESOME!!! I dont know if you have looked yet but I was able to post your pics for you..very nice pics too...

Mat is Rad! I was at a contest once standing on the coping of the vert ramp while the contest was in full effect (try that at the Dew tour or any contest nowadays it aint gonna happen) I ended up taking a picture of the (back then still new) back flip.
He`s always been my favorite rider even dough I don't ride vert ,but back then he was riding everything just to keep things going.

Man, he was one of my favorite riders growing up. He was my Idol! My first real bike was a Hoffman Prodigy 900 about 2001 I think. That was the greatest thing, having that bike. I put some 8" rise Lovehandles on it and 3pc cranks. I rode it till it broke. I would love to meet mat too. It sucks he retired but you have to sometime yah know. I still think he should have won the X games with the no-handed 900! It was his last contest! That's still one of the best tricks on vert even today. That shows you how good he really was.
