Hey there imnotok You can do it 2 different ways. The first way is easiest Put both your back feet on your rear pegs Depending on wich way feels better is the way you will rotate. I spin clockwise so i coast at a slow speed and grab my front brakes and throw my body in a circular fashion I put my feet up close to the bars as I rotate around and as I return back I aim for the pedals. Most of the time I land on the frame and drop down to the pedals. The more advance way of doing one is just to jump up and spin around and land back on the pedals..with no brakes. Its alot harder that way..but it can be done. Soon I will have a how to set up on the site but if you go to www.bmxstunts.com they have a great how to. Welcome to the Message Board!!!

I can do a flail without hitting the brakes, (jump around clockwise and land with my left foot on the back right peg) but I always seem to fall backwards when trying a boomerang to the pedals. I guess I haven't put the "wrench time" into that trick. the first time I tried it I was told not to use my brakes and I spun around and the bike flew under me and I almost lost a fingernail getting caught between the pavement and my brake lever as I fell. I just have to find that right point when to hit the brake. I'll let you guys know if I pull one off.

No, you should not have to do an endo to do a boomerang, but I know the only guy (besides myself) to ever pull it off! Guess, guess! Anyhoo, for anyone learning boomerangs, my suggestion to you is to have all your safety gear, including mouthguard! I personally never hurt myself really bad on one, but I've seen some bad accidents happen.. The first thing one should know is how to do a trackstand popping from the pedals to the front tire and frame. and you should know how to get back. It's the same principle and a boomerang: go in a super slow forward roll and 'pop' out. As you pop out, tuck your knees into your chest and lock your arms, as you come around. As you reach 3/4 of the way around, tap (don't lock) the front brakes and release, as you find your way to the frameand pedal (or both pedals) to ride out.. Hope that helps!!
