From what I understand, 0 offset is when the handlebars do not lean backwards of forwards at all, and are perfectly vertical, in line with the forks. Mine have 0 offset, and it means that even if the handlebars are turned 180', it's like riding with them forward normally.

I have a street bike, so there are no special flatland equipment other than two brakes and the complete set of pegs. It's kind of harder to do some stuff because it feels heavy to maneuver. I just ordered an Oddyssey minimal offset fork and I should be getting it next week. As for zero-offset bars, well, I don't know. I want to be able to ride street still.
I guess my bike will end up being some sort of hybrid for flat/street when I'm done modding it.

here's a pic of my zero setup. i had concerns before i rode it. those concerns are gone. if i didn't have aluminum on my bike i'd mix it up on street more. it didn't take even a day for the zero offset to feel normal again. offset bars do seem to give more control sometimes, and that's a drawback of running a zero setup.

oooooooo, ok i see mine is like that but where the handle bars meet the frame, like where that box thing is my handle bars sit like an inch back but if they werent so far back they would be 0 or whatever.
