Not sure what this poll is about? Read all about it here: --------------- Trackstands: Trackstands are a vital first step in flatlanding, being a key component in learning how to balance your bike properly. Because most people who have been flatlanding for a few months will be quite adept at this trick, it would be interesting to see what variations of this trick people have come up with. Lawn Mower: While more fancy and advanced than a trackstand, the drawback is that there not a whole heap of variations. Of course, maybe if this wins TotM, we might see some new takes on this trick.

Well lets see there is the standered Lawnmower. Then there is a Can Can Lawnmower. Then there is a Power Mower.
If you have never seen a lawn mower before just look at the BMX Freestyler LOGO. That my buddy Paul pulling a Lawnmower. Paul was nice enough to let me use his image as the site logo!!!

The lawnmower! That was probably one of the first tricks I tried (and pulled). I haven't done one in ages. I'll try it next time I go riding ... hehehe

Yeah, that's my fatass in the logo! ;D I still have problems pulling out of them though, I usually have to step off... never could master the ride out part.

Funny thing though when I do them I can't do it with the foot on the wheel. I can only do them can can styled. It kind of freaks people out when I do it because I throw the bike pretty far away from me. I have had the hardest time too riding out of them consitantly. I have gotten better over time.

Lawnmower. There can be no doubt about this trick's superiority. Can can lawnmowers were one of the first tricks I learned and could tweak out (as much as you can tweak a lawnmower). Ceppie Maes demo'd the stubble duck and it was some kind of spinning can can lawnmower variation (if I remember correctly.
Great site, by the way.

Not many variations on a lawnmower. Ha Ha, I can do at least 20 different types... Without even thinking about it.

My favorite lawnmower is when you balance with your hand on the ground, then lean the bike down! Remember when Martin Aparajio use to do them!! Sweet....
