i'm about 80% done with the rebuild; bars will be repainted, new grips (da'kine) and proper barends, also new wheels are going on-balance rims, nankai lite, and primo hub. here's a couple shots of what i got done last night.

Awesome bike, Jim! What's your opinion about the front peg placement? Do you prefer the zero offset position instead of the forward peg position? Just curious my Show has the peg bosses on the fork and I'm trying to decide whether to use them or leave my pegs on the axle.

personally, i'm good with the zero offset. i like the responsiveness of that setup a lot. when i get on friends' bikes with fork offset they feel kinda sluggish. it's all what you get used to, but i would definitely check it out and try it a bit before you buy. also the combination of zero offset and small pegs with my body style is pure cream. i'm a big fan of it.

I remember when the Kore flatland fork was out and used alot, but then it kindof disappeared? I've always rode flat with the pegs in the forward position, but it does seem a little sluggish especially on hitchhiker spins...
