Should the ladies come all day, or wait until the after party? I do want to see some riding? Will there be videos or music at the party?

Well, I went ... it was pretty cool seeing all those flatlanders together in one place. Met some nice people including our very own haullywood (a regular poster here). I Talked to James McGraw for a little bit after seeing him ride for a while and thinking I knew him from somewhere (Mark, he says you're a cool guy) . Well, I did know him and it was from the videos on BMXFreestyler. That guy is smooth. I Saw Terry Adams busting these incredible, insane tricks and combos. Jesse Puente was there, too. Also saw a whole bunch of guys that I don't know, but were tearing up the courts there. Towards the end of the day, this guy I met was telling me that Chris Day was there, so we looked him up and I went up to him to say hi. The first freestyle video I ever saw was "Freestyling at the Spot" and he was in it along with Fred Bloood and R.L. I remember thinking he must have been on crack (jokingly) because he just moved so fast. Quick footwork and those super-dialed boomerangs in all flavors just kept on coming. That's the video that made me really think about getting into freestyle back then (street and flat) because I originally was thinking of racing, which I ended up not doing at all I initially thought about just being there for one or two hours since I was going to meet a friend afterward, but I ended up staying until the end. It was a great first jam. I didn't ride that much, maybe 1 hour altogether.

Hey noposer, I think he still rides, but not as much. His bike had no cranks, so I guess no more pedal-to-pedal boomerangs at least for now. Didn't talk to him much because he was trying to organize some little end-of-jam contest: longest trick wins $40.00 for amateurs only. I charged the batteries the night before and put the camera where I couldn't forget it and, of course, I forgot it. I was kicking myself

Right on Igor! nice hookin' up with you too! Chris day was there? I wish I saw him, I rode with him a few times back in the days and another dude named Craig Grasso, down in the South Beach area, Redondo beach. That jam rocked......I wonder what the after party was like? Didn't make that.

heard the party was cool (from a guy I met in santa monica the other day). they watched the new Diversion video and had a few drinks and food. I don't think it got too crazy or anything. At least it didn't sound like it did. Nice hooking up with you too, Danny.
