Okay guys, no turning back now! I just purchased my tickets for this event. WOOHOO!!! I'll be flying out on the 11th so that means I'll have Thursday and Friday to hang out before the main event. More than likely, I'll be staying at the Hilton in Houston. How far is that from the event site? Also, any suggestions as to what a tourist like me can do while I'm out there would be helpful. Let's get a role call going!

there's a lot of stuff to do here in Houston. there's NASA, the Houston Zoo, the Galleria area, the museum of natural science, Main street. I'll have to take some time to list more, but even while I live in Houston, I'm not much of a site seer. sorry. Friday night, we're hoping to have a pre-jam spot for everyone to hang out, ride, meet up, etc. we'll have more info on that soon. I'll post some more info this weekend. later.

Yep, I'm definitely going to make it... not really looking forward to riding in the comp, its been awhile ('97). However, I'm really excited about meeting you guys, putting faces with the messages will be incredible.. I should have my friend going too, where Rey, Igor, will you guys be staying. Let me know and we can party when we're done riding!!!! There's a time for riding and a time to chill, bring on the Lager!!! this is going to be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news indeed Sean. Heck ya! I'm all up for meeting new riders and riding hard alongside everyone, but I'm also there to just let loose a little and forget about worries. I think the last time I entered a contest was in 88!! YIKES!!! That's way too long. Igor and I will be staying at: Hampton Inn Houston-I-10 East 828 Mercury Drive Houston, TX United States 77013 Phone: 1-713-673-4200 Fax: 1-713-674-6913 Not looking to get dead drunk I can't find my pants wasted, but enough to mellow out for sure. However, if a Texan cutie hands me my pants the next day...I wouldn't complain.

All I have to say is, I'm glad I went to this event! So much to say about what happened during that trip but I'm still recovering from the last 5 days. Meeting and riding with everyone at the pre-jam and at the contest was memorable. Sharing a few drinks with Jim and Josh at the homo bar wasn't too bad either. HAHA! Unfortunate we couldn't do the dinner out as planned but it was tough trying to get everyone on the same page...sorry Mark!!
Igor, glad to see you made it home safely. I know this trip was rough from the start with the bike box hassles to missing your flight on Sunday. UGH!! But overall, I'm glad you made it out as well. What time did you end up getting home yesterday?
Anyway, this trip totally encourages me to make every effort to go out and travel with my bike! So next event that comes up, I'll do my best to make it! BTW, rumor has it the next Intrikat Jam this Dec. might actually be a contest using the hotly rumored judging system that Chad is trying to come up with. I know it's a short notice, but if you guys can make it out to Cali, that'd be awesome!
