Welcome Back to Flat Dave, I would take a good look and the KHE Militant. Good price for a complete bike with all the goodies you need to ride flatland. He has 3 levels you can pick witch one will work best for you on www.flatlandfuel.comIf your looking at price the best bike for the price is DK Optis (Sp) Its not a super light bike but it functions well. Keep on Riding!! Mark

Thanks, I was looking at the militant pro, but wasnt quite sure about it how well it would hold up. I was also looking at the way the stem and handle bars are made, it looks like they are one part.

If I am correct it is a Swiss Miss Bar Stem Combo. I have many friends that use that bar and like it. It helps keep the weight down.

I got it Thursday, I am starting to get used to it. It was a big change rideing a bike that light, and I have never rode with out a rear brake so that took some getting used to. I rode for about four hours today and I am really likeing it.
