look at me go, Mark doesn't have to do everything around here (heh) waiting on newish (well it's a 2008) frame to arrive but it got stuck in oklahoma, maybe tomorrow I'll either get some riding in or some bike building, I'd be happy either way.

Awseome a new Month. I rode in front of the house for a hour. It felt good. I am really starting to gel with the new ride. I am ready to start trying some new stuff again so I can keep my progression going. Its still to streach my wings so I can FLY!!

Been cold here in Jax, Fl.....still manage to ride...learned the side-saddle hang-five, and also made a break through on the pedal steamrollers.....started coasting them in tight circles. My bike really needs some new parts, but I'm just to lazy to order them.....lol Just havin fun riding, that's all that counts!

I have issues with Backwards Karl too. I can coast FWD all day though..funny. Once you get used to the position its not so bad. Infact it will even start to feel natural.

I got a St. Martin Class X2, didn't get to start building it tonight so tomorrow evening it's on! I sized it up against my Inertia and it's a bit shorter overall lengthwise, and it's definitely more compact as far as toptube etc., I'm really looking forward to finishing it, I think it being sized more to my size should help me out a bit with what I've already learned so far.

Hey Mutt,
WOW I really have not been reading much on Global lately. Thats crazy..hahaha. I would love if some day we had Crew Battles in good fun and after all was done we sit around drink beer and hang out swap stories. I have not ever seen bitterness in any typical flatlander groups. Just guys wanting to help out others for the most part.
Its been raining here for 2 days now..UUUUGGG i am hoping today is the day it STOPs.......off to work. Don't be such a stranger Mutt!!
Keep on Riding!

Now I'm Jones'in to ride and I'm stuck at work for the next 2 days!! Happy Superbowl weekend!!

I got ride my newish bike tonight and it was awesome, smaller dimensions feel a lot better, bike just felt like it "fit", I don't really know how to better explain it. I noticed 2 things wrong with it that I fixed when I got home, a loose headset and midway through tonight I couldn't pedal. (ugh) I got a little freaked out thinking it might be my freecoaster, but as it turns out it was my bottom bracket. When I put the cranks etc. together last night my sprocket was sitting flush right on the cups pretty much, I didnt think much of it until tonight when I got home I noticed as I was turning my cranks one side of my bottom bracket was loosening/tightening itself, I took everything apart, retorqued both sides and added a small 19mm spacer on the drive side and now my bike feels perfect, looking forward to putting in some driveway time tomorrow before we get yucky weather again.

Got some riding in today, bike feels wonderful, all I nned to do now is practice practice practice. completely unrelated, but tonight I saw my car in a magazine, I was so stoked I actually took a picture of it (silly I know, same mag will be featuring it later anyway), it's just one of those things I've always tried to do as far as my car hobby, and it's really exciting to watch it unfold right before my very eyes. It's in the Feb/Mar 2010 issue of Performance Auto Sound (www.pasmag.com) on page 26. Attachments:
