I can already picture how it could be done... from a superman.
Well, just like the FMX dude did. Shoulda caught his name, but I didn't... I had my guitar in my hands and basically looked up at the right moment last night to catch it. Had to pause my Beatles song for a sec.

I was watching tonight. Jeff was right about BIKE VERT. Nothing to exciting...Flair Whips...[glow=red,2,300]SICK[/glow] What really got me going was seeing Matt Hoffman pulling his No Handed 900 air!!! That was breath taking to see. It may have been old footage..but still Awseome to see. I mean how often do you see something like that?!?!

I don't really dig the fmx stuff. It's kinda funny how it has gone full circle. BMX started as kids on bikes trying to copy guys on motorcycles, now the fmx guys are copying bmx.

My favorite thing is flatland but since they don't have that in X-games anymore. I will take what I can get. They keep pushing the limits and going for things that seem impossible to do.

I took all my BMX skills, and got on a 250cc 2 stroke. I still ride BMX, but when I'm on that motorcycle, I treat it like it's a pedal bike. Definately stealing stuff from the BMX roots. The air is just MUCH bigger. You're going alot faster, so it seems to me, to be nothing more than a big @ss jump box.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think FMX is severely limited and cant evolve anywhere near where BMX has gone, It's gnarly but I cant take it seriously as I think it has a limited shelf life.
Miserably yours

I have heard that before but I think they keep pushing there selfs hard and harder every year. I remember reading back in 86 in Freestyln Have we done all that we can do? Have we reach our limits? At the time the hardest trick out was the Jump of Doom. I said to myself after looking at that trick...we are just about out of tricks i think. I was soooo WRONG!!! As I watch the riders of today they keep pushing there selves harder and harder. FMX is doing the same thing. I am sure they will keep thinking of new ways to die on a bike and cheat death time and time again. Who would have thought you could do backflips on a MX bike?

FMX is limited. They will never be able to pull tailwhips of anyform and fakie flips. No decades or boomerang airs. The double flip is already enlisted so that is cool but that is pretty much as far as it is going to get. The evolution of the FMX scene will be like skateboarders where bitd the kickflip was the thing to do now everybody does it and it is considered a basic beginner move. In the FMX scene it will be just that. Few people doing 360's ,flips, or 2 flips. Just in a few years it will be normal and everybody does it. I mean everything that is being practiced regardless who was first bmx or Mx but we all know it was MX . But they are now going to foam boxes, trampolines, gymnastic instruction.I like to see when a 720 is pulled and guarantee you will never , ever see a 1080 pulled on a motorcycle .Those moves will definitely put you in the hospital like the rest but anyone attempting them should be like evil Kenevil. Before he pulling off the move there was no practice and he new he was going to the hospital after. The extent of the injury didn't really matter cause it was going to happen ;D

You know whats funny is a standard backflip isnt very exciting anymore. Unless your doing some sort of Variation its just not so...WOW anymore. I think the progression however will just push them even further when some one figures out a new bunch of tricks to do. Sort of like how when Kevin Jones and the rest of the Plywood Hoods started rolling on there bikes instead of hopping it gave birth to what we know as flatland today. I know there are a new set of tricks out there that have not been tapped into..maybe boomerang bar rides?? Or how about hopping with no brakes??? Now that would take some darn good balance. LOL
