Whoa another month in place. The wind blew in like a Lion. We also get more hours to ride during the evening. Day light savings time is going down very soon. Progression is in our favor now!
Keep on Riding!

I can already tell this is going to be a great month! Jams and contests are coming up and the weather is getting nicer for riding. I am soo sore today. Riding sessions at my house have become an almost daily thing; dealing with wind all the time has got me moving slower in the mornings lol. I've started taking time in the evenings to get on the floor and stretch out everything that's tight. This month I'm going to work on TOTM megaspins, and learn a single whiplash.
ride on!

I'm loosing the faith...what I mean by that...is i'm not riding enough. To many adult responsibilities. I can't seem to find the time to ride. I get so exhausted from work...and then come home and do all the house work...and then have to take the dog for a walk. AHHHHHHH. Sorry, I just want to find the time to ride. I wish I could have made it out to the OG today. Just when I get bummed, I ride with you guys...and everything is all good.

I rode yesterday after taking most of the week off due to food poisoning...again. arg. I just worked on jugglers, and got probably a handful. I need to build some strength to take it to the next level, so I'm pushing myself to work out at home. Mark, anything I can help with as far as getting your bike working?

So, I finally got out to ride some...worked on mega-spins...which were coming along nicely. And then, yesterday, the dare-devil(I admit, I like Mat Hoffman too much) in me decides that it would be a good idea to ride my friends mini-ramp...on my "tall bike". You know...the ones you've seen before...one frame welded on top of another. Mine isn't extremely tall...but enough to completely throw your balance out of whack. So I get a few runs in...even got some airs going, and then blammo. It happens. At the very least, i've hyper-extended my knee. Called my surgeon(you know, on speed dial) and talked to a nurse. She said give it a few days and see how things go and then come in on Thursday. SO, I might be going under the knife again. The really bummer part about it is, it was my good knee.
You know, part of the reason I started riding flat again, is so that I wouldn't hurt myself anymore. Arrggg! I need to realize that my body can't take doing dumb crap anymore. I should get rid of all my other bikes...just keep the flat whip.

Right on this is the first time in awhile I was able to post about Today's Riding. I was able to get my bike in riding condition again. Thanks to Empire BMX!! Tina and Tom and Hansen and Taylor really hooked me up. I was expecting to drop my wheel off and pick it up when the got around to it. Hansen said he could have it done in about 20 min if I wanted to wait. He even got my wheel tru again. Well pretty darn close.
I took a pretty hard spill today. Landed on my hands and skidded on my knee. It was a Hitchhiker gone wrong. It was like my first few tricks getting back on the bike after being off for more than a week. I just freaked out and instead of stepping down I slide across the ground. Yeah it hurt.
I worked on hitchhikers, No handed hang 10's, Turbine Hang '5, Crackpackers and Freaksqueaks. I am feeling like I need to move on from these tricks I need to get them nailed down so I can move on to the NEXT BIG THING! I am so ready to learn how to do some other tricks but I need to learn these few that I keep working on. I need a Can do attitude so I can keep moving on.
Keep on Riding!

I was planning a Friday night session but the weather seems rather sucky still. I am keeping my fingers cross for a Saturday to be much better. I need some practice on the ole bike. What kind of work out are you doing Jim? Free Weights?
I just got done working and I am really wanting to ride a bit but is soaking wet out side....O well.
Keep on Riding!
