The start of another month already! Last night I set up the flood lights in my driveway and worked on Elbow glides, in fact I worked on them so much I woke up today with a huge bruise on my right elbow. LOL! After about an hour I was popping into them pretty consistently and rolling them pretty far linking it into a Steamroller. I'm taking off this Friday from work just to ride...how's that for dedication! lol! This month will be tough with snow on it's way and no indoor place to ride, but when my driveway & road is clear and dry I WILL be out there!!

I had a nice ride with Cullen last night at Hyde Park garage, there were 3 of us there including my bud Rene, had a blast practicing the basics and watching Cullen tear it up on a 22", fixing to hit the garage and finish up my brakes now...finally lol

Awsome thanks for starting new thread! TOday I worked on Trick of the Month. Time Machine. Its going to be a fun month trying to learn how to spin around on my back wheel. I can't wait till I can do this trick. I did do a different ride out for my hitchhiker today. I rolled my tire down to my seat. It felt amazing, I was in total control of my halfhiker position and I just rode out with no problem. Look fwd to Saturday Birthday Jam Session. That should be fun!!
Keep on Riding!

I may have to try some more latter on but I will edit what I did just for kicks. Its sooo cold out side and It was not that easy stayig warm.

Thanks, Its uploading now. Turned out to be 36 tricks...I got close. If I knew I was that close I would have found something in me. I showed me blacking out...I really gave it everything I had. I was cold and tired and probably a little dehydreted. I tried to keep moving so when I went inside to drink I didn't take a long break like I normally would. I got right back out side because time is very limited. If I got to warm then I would not want to go back outside..hahha. Its like 26% Its going to take awhile.
Keep on Riding!

Happy birthday Mark, I just turned 41 last month. What bike are you riding now? The weather's opposite here, we're just starting summer. I'm hoping to go for a ride later if the wind settles down a bit.
BTW, I've ordered the DK Opsis from Flatlandfuel, I'm getting the Big Sun City Lite wheels with a KHE reverse freecoaster.

Hey Keith,
I am riding a St. Martin Darwin. Its discontinued now but they have a Eiffel that has taken its place. I don't miss our summer but I do miss our Autum months. It was so nice this fall. Summer was brutal this year 100 plus for 3 months. Ugggg I was only riding after 7 because you would just sweat to much.
Happy Belated Birthday to you!
Mark

Cheers Mark. I think St Martin is an Aussie brand is it, or they have some sort of connection with Australia? So far our start to Summer has been relatively cool compared to some of the hotter late spring temps we had. We were getting temps in the mid/high 30's (celsius) throughout November. I went for a ride yesterday evening, it was a bit windy but not too bad. Just basic stuff, managed a steamroller to funky chicken but my brakes are a bit grabby, I'm running the chrome Peregrine HP Super Pros on the Master. I'm looking forward to getting the Opsis and see how it performs with the less brake grabby black wheels. Keith

Are you using brakes to ride into funky chicken from steam? I am getting better at the scuffing part. I learned how to step over with out my brakes. But my scuffing pretty much sucks hahaha. Today I rode for about 1 hour. I got in a cross handed hang 5. A few hitchhikers and some halfhiker and a few other tricks. Over all I was happy with my hour. I really can't wait for Saturday its going to be Insane!

Yea I use the brakes, although I've been able to do it without brakes in the past. I'm still a bit rusty so maybe in time I'll get it without using the brakes again. I was getting better at hang 5's when I stopped riding before, I could roll for about 7-8 metres or there abouts, I reckon it'll take a while before I get them that good again though. Keith

I saw that 42 tricks video. Man that was awesome. Happy birthday. I hope im still riding by then.
Were getting some cool weather here now so you can ride pretty hard without sweating buckets. Ive been working on getting a switch footed dork wheelie down , right foot on the left peg and eventually want to get the frame against my body and roll around like those back wheel enthusiasts from japan.

It's been about 10 weeks or so and I've been at it hard ever since...and having a lot of fun too!! I made another video showing some progress and working on linking a few of my tricks together......I still have a lot of work. lol! 2 things....I just could not get a video of myself getting into the Rope-A Roni, oh well maybe next video. I have no idea where that d**n weed came from? I swear it wasn't there when I placed the camera down. LOL! We have around 4 inches of snow on the ground right now...kinda bummed out. *Click here* Week 10 Progress
